At this historic point in OIAA’s history with the adoption of the revised bylaws, it is incumbent upon us to pause and gratefully acknowledge our visionary founders, pioneer members groups and every volunteer whose service has brought us to this moment. Since the mid-90’s when OIAA began serving online AA groups, much has changed. However, the continuing thread that ties us to our past and draws us into the future has not changed: OIAA aids its member groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers. Thank you for joining us in this effort!
As a result of the adoption of the revised bylaws by unanimous vote at our assembly in September 2022, OIAA will now be conducting business in real time. In this way, all participants can see, hear and participate in the discussion. This has been a huge focus of our service commitment over the past four years, and you helped us complete this important work. We are grateful to have had your participation and enthusiastic endorsement!! THANK YOU!
But the work continues to help our member groups in their common purpose of carrying the message to the alcoholic who still suffers. We have a place for you in service. Please join us on our journey.
