OIAA IGR Forum 29 April 2023

Thank you to all who participated in the IGR Forum.

The purpose of the IGR Quarterly Forums is to bring information to the IGRs, give all IGRs an opportunity to share information with each other, ask questions, and spark new ideas. What ideas does your group have? We are collecting them here: IGR.forum@aa-intergroup.org

IGRs, please prepare for April 29 by asking your group members to tell you what they want or need from OIAA as an Intergroup. Do not fret if they don’t know. Some groups may make no request while others will offer several ideas and items. The Forum will provide everyone with a learning opportunity.

The purpose of the April 29, 2023 OIAA IGR Quarterly Forum is to explore the needs and expectations of OIAA’s groups. We want to sustain the same spirit of experimentation that led to the creation of AA and its expansion to online meetings. Please view this 1:05 minute video to consider what is possible when we remove the limitations to the ideas we can generate.

A workshop idea that can help Intergroup Representatives to see themselves as AA leaders is to discuss the connection of Step 9 (Living Amends) to Tradition Nine (Service Boards & Committees), and Concepts IX (Leadership).

What new 12th-Step work ideas are possible online?

What services will help online groups grow?
