7th Tradition: How Online Groups Do It

An open sharing on how online groups practise the 7th Tradition—from virtual contributions to responsible distribution—while keeping our focus on spirituality and service.

IGR Forum Agenda (1 Hour)

1. Welcome & Opening (5 minutes)
• Welcome and brief overview of the Forum
• Purpose and spirit of the session
• Outline of format

2. Housekeeping (Tech Team) (2–3 minutes)
• Zoom guidance (mute/unmute, chat, raising hands)
• How to participate in Q&A

3. Speaker Shares (20–25 minutes total)
• Speaker 1 (5–8 minutes)
• Speaker 2 (5–8 minutes)
• Speaker 3 (5–8 minutes)

Suggested focus for each speaker:
• How their group collects 7th Tradition contributions online (apps, platforms, etc.)
• How group conscience is reached regarding funds
• How funds are distributed (group, intergroup, GSO, etc.)

4. Q&A / Open Sharing (25–30 minutes)
• Moderated questions from attendees
• Sharing of experience from other groups5. Closing (2–3 minutes)
• Thanks to speakers and participants
• Any follow-up information
• Close with the Serenity Prayer
