12 noon EST  The Unity Chair opens the meeting with the Declaration of Unity

• Introductions 

The Chair, Jen H, to ask each attendee to share their name, homegroup and country (Secretary records attendance): 

1.  Approval of the minutes from the last two meetings, 3 and 18 January 2026  

Any amendments to the minutes of the previous meetings?

Move to approve the minutes as a true reflection of the meeting and a second to pass.

2.  New Business

a) Unity Committee & Convention Budget Review update (Jen H)

b) Elections – please email your nominations or AA Service CV if you wish to stand for election (Unity.Chair@aa-intergroup.org)  (there is a standardised doc in the drive to attach) Service Description Template 

Each candidate is given up to 3 mins to share their AA Service CV before the Committee votes (no other discussion required)

OIAA2026 Convention Chair

c) IGR Forum, Saturday 24th January 2026 – Brief update about the Tech Committee presentation and opportunities to volunteer. (Jen H)

3.  New Motions for consideration

Only Unity Committee members may participate in the voting process (must be active and have attended a minimum of three Committee meetings). Each member will be given 3 mins to present their motion, and members given 2 mins to comment before open to vote. 

Motion 1: Jen H – Move to amend time of the Saturday meeting away from 2pm est to allow Unity members to attend and participate in regular OIAA events

4. Updates from Sub-committee

1. Ad hoc Finance Committee and Convention Interpretation research & discussion:
