1pm EST  The Unity Chair opens the meeting with the Declaration of Unity

  • Introductions 

The Chair, Jen H, to ask each attendee to share their name, homegroup and country (Secretary records attendance): 

  1. Approval of the minutes from the last meeting, 7 March 2026  
    1. Any amendments to the minutes of the previous meetings?
      1. Move to approve the minutes as a true reflection of the meeting and a second to pass.
  2. New Business
      1. Open Service Positions – please email your nominations or AA Service CV if you wish to stand for election (Unity.Chair@aa-intergroup.org)  (there is a standardised doc in the drive to attach) Service Description Template 
        1. OIAA2026 Convention Chair (requires min 5 years sobriety)
        2. Unity Committee Secretary (requires 3 years sobriety) – URGENT.
  3. Updates from Sub-committees
    1. OIAA2026 Convention:  Jen 
      1. Update of budget review with OIAA Board Meeting and OIAA Assembly
      2. Host Group recruitment and registration
      3. Logo and flyer development
      4. Convention Planning Meeting straight after this meeting
      5. Tech – meeting with Tech12 within next few weeks
    2. Unity Liaison: Arlene
      1. Liaison Rep update
      2. Liaison IGR Workshops
  4. Other business:  
    1. Unity Committee Chair’s report for March will be available to access on the website soon.
